About me

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor/psychotherapist with  a practice based in Sale, South Manchester.

Before training as a counsellor I worked for many years as a manager within the NHS and have previously managed mental health services. I now work part-time within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) within the NHS as a clinician and balance this with my private practice. As a qualified systemic family practitioner I work with individuals, couples and family members as well as young people.

As well as my work as a counsellor/psychotherapist I continue to  work as a management consultant ,trainer and coach and deliver therapeutic courses. I have particular skills and experience in dealing with work based stress and anxiety and career coaching.  I am passionate about wanting to ensure that people can access support they need when they need it. For this reason I am able to offer a small number of appointments at a reduced fee for those on low incomes
